PBA LOCAL 334 IS A LABOR ORGANIZATION REPRESENTING THE OFFICERS OF THE HUDSON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE. WE WILL CONTINUALLY STRIVE TO IMPROVE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR OUR OFFICERS, WHILE PROMOTING LOYALTY, HONESTY AND INTEGRITY AMONGST OUR MEMBERS. AS A BARGAINING UNIT, WE WILL NEGOTIATE LABOR CONTRACTS IN GOOD FAITH AND PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF ALL OF OUR MEMBERS. WE WILL ENCOURAGE OUR MEMBERS TO MAINTAIN A PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE WHILE PROVIDING THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF PUBLIC SAFETY THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY OF HUDSON.

MUST STAND TOGETHER!
Hudson County Sheriff Frank Schillari and Sheriff's Officer Salvatore DiCiaccio were presented awards for heroism at the New York/New Jersey Detectives Crime Clinic Dinner, which was held at the Empire Club in Little Ferry on March 31st.
Schillari and DiCiaccio received the Outstanding Law Enforcement Professionals Award.
DiCiaccio was honored for saving the lives of two children and an adult who were in danger of drowning last year off the shores of Liberty State Park.
Schillari recieved the award for his arrest in September of a Bayonne man who was wanted for armed robbery, murder and rape.
"I am proud to serve and protect the people of Hudson County every day as Sheriff," said Schillari. "I am honored to receive this award and I'm grateful to work alongside some of the bravest and most dedicated officers in the State."
Six other law enforcement professionals in New York and New Jersey were honored at the dinner, along with 2 law enforcement units.
